When you have defined your setting that you would use for your projects including the custom codes. You can store these in a template project. Whenever you would like to create a new project open the template project and do a "Save As" to create a new project.
This is how you do a "Save As":
Select Project | Save As ...
Select the correct server and database. and write in the new Project ID.
Check the checkbox Copy Permissions. Click OK.
In this way you ensure that your projects have the correct settings from the Template project.
