To migrate the license please do the following:

 

  1. Install the network license server on the new server – see  for Setup instructions (you will find the files needed in the old network license server folder)
  2. On the client machine(s), modify the SW.INI file found in the C:\Windows folder on the client machine(s) to point to the new license folder.

 

Note: If you are running ShipWeight version 12 or later we offer software based license system as an alternative to the hardware USB system.  Please let us know if you would prefer to switch to software based licensing.
